KERSTCONCERT in SINT-TRUDOKERK te STIPHOUT

COMPOSITION CONTEST

Since 1999, the Dutch foundation 'Stichting Jan Vermulst' has organised in cooperation with the music publisher 'ANNIE BANK' and the European choir federation 'EUROPA CANTAT' several composition contests. Each time some 60 to 80 composers have participated from nearly all European countries as well from the USA, South America and even China.
The winners of the famous Jan Vermulst price were:
in 2000 at Nevers France Mr Edwig Albrath; in 200 at Barcelona Spain Mr. Laurent Beeckman and in 2006 at Mainz, Germany Mr. Willy Soenen.
In the 1995 contest held in the Benelux, the winner was Mr. Johan de Wit from Germany.
The organ composition contest of 1998 was won by Mr. Daniël Charles Foley from Toronto Canada.

CONCERT at HASSELT, BELGIUM

The mixed choir MARGODA from Hasselt, Belgium, will perform a concert in the Sint-Quintinus Cathedraj of the sane ciry on Sunday November 18, 2007.
The concert 'KLINKENDE LAUDATIO' exist of compositions of the Dutch composer Jan Vermulst, religious hymns. and organ works.
The same concert will be performed in the SINT-BENEDICTUS ABBEY of Hamont-Achel, Belgium, on Sunday November 25, 2007.
Organplayer is Joosr Vermeieren. Conductor Leo van Nevel
